Description: This is a re-bid of the Fields Place Apartments at Natural Bridge development which now has a new design (grocery store is now separate and will be bid later). If your company bid this project previously, please review the revised plans and specifications before submitting a new bid.

This development involves new construction of one four-story building, comprising 50 apartment units. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site work, concrete foundations, metal fabrications, carpentry, thermal/moisture protection, roofing, siding, masonry, windows, MEPS, elevator, finishes, specialties, paving, concrete, and landscaping.

• This project IS prevailing wage, and certified payroll reporting is required by MHDC and the City of St. Louis.

• City of St. Louis requires confirmation of payments received in GPTS.

• Section 3 applies to this project.

• Work hour goals apply to this project as follows (a worker’s hours may count toward more than one applicable category)(The City of St. Louis will track worker hours on site using The Headcount system, and subcontractors will be required to certify tracked hours in The Headcount):

o Section 3 Certified Workers: 25% of all work hours

o Apprentices in U.S. Department of Labor-Approved Apprenticeship Program: 20% of all work hours

o Minorities: 25% of all work hours

o Women: 7% of all work hours

o City of St. Louis Residents: 23% of all work hours

• Certified Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 Businesses are strongly encouraged to bid.

• Bids should be based off notes in the drawings and specifications; however, while all notes regarding allowances should be reviewed, DO NOT include allowances in your bids.

• All workers must be OSHA 10 certified.

• All workers must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and each subcontractor must be registered with E-Verify to work on the project.

Bidding Information: The Mandatory General Information Sheet found in the Additional Documents folder must accompany each bid. Please show sales tax separate from your base bid.
